A recent image posted on the Xbox social media account has sparked feverish speculation in die-hard gaming circles, with eagle-eyed fans deducing that a possible Psychonauts 3 is in the works. A strategically designed image of noughts and crosses board on the Xbox social media account revealing the spelling of PSYCHO and three Xs has sent dedicated followers of the franchise into a frenzy, leading to conjectures about a possible sequel.

While little is known yet about the authenticity of this rumor, players are expecting to reprise the role of Razputin "Raz" Aquato, a young acrobat with extraordinary psychic abilities, in the series' potential third installment. As part of Psychonauts, a group of elite psychic spies, Raz is tasked to infiltrate people’s minds and scrutinize their innermost thoughts to uncover dark secrets and solve mysteries.
